Zahra Indigo at Queen Hatcheptsut's Mortuary Temple, 2023
I am honored to be your personal guide to the Egyptian Mysteries!
When I am not guiding pilgrimages, I am grateful to call the Pacific Northwest home. I live at the southern end of the Willamette Valley where the headwaters of the Willamette River flow north between the Cascade Mountains to the Columbia River to the north. This is the ancestral home of the Kalapuya people. I live here with one of my two sons, our dog Daisy, our two cats Mau and Alabaaster, our bunny Bloo, and many house plants.
My company Sacred Witness LLC is the parent company that holds all my offering, including Sacred Witness Pilgrimages; Sacred Witness Classes; Blue Lotus Alchemy for Spiritual Guidance, Coaching, and Consultations in private 1:1 sessions; Sanctuary of the Sacred Witness for ceremony and officiation; and Truthouse Press publishing. You are invited to visit my main website that is a center point to access all my offerings: https://sacredwitness.center.
A visionary by nature, I have learned to deeply trust my inner knowing and how it guides me. It is my intention to live life in service to the health of our planet and all who reside here, and in this I have discovered something quite profound and rewarding.
As a Priestess of Ma'at, dedicated to serving Ma'at, goddess of cosmic order, justice, and harmony, I am committed to seeking and personifying Truth in what every way I am able to perceive it. I am grateful to share that my first book, The Gifts of Ma'at, is now available!
Because I am dedicated to helping us remember that we are all a part of our greater planetary body, all of my education, various trainings, and initiations have centered on the healing and health of individuals and our planet. Ultimately, I am an ongoing student of life, continually healing, learning, and growing.
While in Egypt to lead pilgrimages, I have made the time to give my time in service to the people there though my non-profit, Zahra Handworks Foundation, a 501(c)(3). Zahra Handworks is dedicated to a truth that handwork, working with one's hands to create items of use and beauty, is essential for a healthy planet by sharing the value of handwork, especially when creating from reclaimed and recycled materials. We have provided tools such as scissor, crochet hooks, and weaving looms, as well as training to use these tools to women in Cairo, Bahariya Oasis, Aswan, and Abydos. It is my hope that the tools gifted have made a difference to those women to whom they were given.
It is with much gratitude to share about the other teachers I have led Tours with in Egypt:
