Please Note:

• Whether paying in full or making payments, $2000 of total is the deposit for this tour.
• Full Singles are only available if the tour does not fill. This is because we are limited to the number of rooms on the boat. A Partial Single may be available if an even number of participants are interested in this option, and if so, a room will be shared on the boat and you will have a single at the hotels. If there is an odd number of participants, someone will be required to have a single.

Payment Plan:

• Payment #1  — $2000 Deposit*: Due within 5 Days of Registration
• Payment #2  — ⅓ remaining balance : Due May 1, 2025
• Payment #3  —  ½ remaining balance : Due May 1, 2026
• Payment #4  — Final remaining balance : Due May 1, 2027

Please Note:

• The payment amounts and final payment will be determined by the total balance due as based on your choices on the Registration Form and any additional nights added. If you register after a scheduled due date, then all payments to that date are due. You can pay your balance in full at any time before final payment is due.
• In special circumstances, an alternative payment plan may be considered if necessary. An alternative payment plan from the above schedule will add an additional $300 USD to your total. If you choose to make payments and do not make the payments on time, this $300 will automatically be added to your invoice. If the final payment is two weeks past due, a $300 late fee will be added to your balance. 

The costs to operate tours in Egypt continue to increase every year. You may find other tours for less money, but know that Sacred Witness Pilgrimages will offer you an unforgettable journey at a fair and competitive price. 

The Egypt prices for Summer 2027 have not been released and may increase. If costs in Egypt increase beyond what is feasible to operate the tour at the published price, Sacred Witness Pilgrimages reserves the right to pass these increases on to the participants in order to ensure the tour can run as scheduled. That stated, we have yet to have to increase costs once the price is established. It is our hope to keep it this way.

A minimum of 10 people is required to run at the advertised Package Price. If less than the minimum register, Sacred Witness Pilgrimages reserves the right to increase costs in order to ensure the tour will run.

• We can arrange this for you and add it to your tour costs. You are highly encouraged to arrive a day early and to add an extra night. This will allow you to rest and acclimate before the tour begins.
• Sacred Witness Pilgrimages can also arrange accommodations and activities for additional time after the tour. Inquire with Zahra Indigo to help with options.
• Please note: if you arrive after midnight and before 10am, an additional night will automatically be added to your balance in order for you to be able to check in when you get the hotel.
• If you have a medical situation or are required to quarantine due to COVID tests, any additional nights at a hotel are your responsibility. 

• As of October 2024:
  • Testing and vaccinations are not required to enter Egypt or the US.
  • Sacred Witness Pilgrimages reserves the right to require testing before departure and upon arrival, only if it is deemed necessary.
  • Sacred Witness Pilgrimages requests that all participants bring 1-2 COVID Tests on the trip unless other instructions are provided.
  • Due to the changing global realities, details for specific requirements for this will be provided closer to the tour dates.

• Be aware of any airline requirements, as well as requirements of any countries you will transfer through.
• Sacred Witness Pilgrimages will follow the CDC Guidelines for quarantine.

• This includes most water. A good quality water filtration system is encouraged to limit the plastic waste generated from plastic water bottles.

• Book to arrive by 10am on the day the tour begins or add an additional night. Please note, for travel from America, you will depart the day before you arrive in Cairo.

• The hotels will have restaurants and room service for any meals not included.
• Your food requirements will be collected during registration and we can accommodate Vegetarians and Vegans. 
• If you have special food needs, whether lifestyle choices or allergies, you are encouraged to bring snacks to supplement. We will do our very best to accommodate you and we thank you for understanding that Egypt's alternative food options may be limited. While in Egypt, we eat like Egyptians enjoying the flavors and cuisine of the country.

• Laundry, SIM cards, and other items of a personal nature are not included. 

Although shopping will not be an emphasis on this tour, there will be opportunities scattered throughout the tour for those who are interested to visit a variety of shops and markets for Egyptian goods. There are many wonderful items to procure from very inexpensive trinkets to expensive rugs and jewelry!

• Tips to hotel staff and at restaurants for meals not included in the itinerary are customary.

Cancel for any reason is emphatically encouraged. If you opt to not procure travel insurance, you understand the cancellation policy and any potential loss if the tour can not run.

• US, Canadian, and EU citizens can get a visa at the Cairo airport upon entry.
• If your citizenship is from another country, be sure to research visa requirements for your country.
• It is possible to get an eVisa online though not necessary. Although you may have to wait in line for it, if you get your Visa at the airport you will get a cool sticker to put in your passport!
